    Our Squirrels Love Them

These were a big hit when I bought them. I only put out about 6 per day but it's fun to watch them grab one and then run away and bury it.

    Black Walnuts

Posted by Howard Suer on 9th Aug 2016

I had never bought black walnuts before, so I thought it might be a good change for my macaws. The shells were so hard that I could hardly break them with a hammer. The macaws just drop them on the floor of their cage.

I'm not sure how others use them, but they did not suit my purpose.

The other products I purchased were of good quality and the service was good as well.

    Excellent quality

I have received two orders of 10 pounds each to feed the local squirrels. (Due to drought, there have been no acorns) Everything was in good shape and received within three days.

    Do not recommend

I order these when I found that the English Walnuts were out of stock. Shells are so hard you are unable to crack these, ended up having to use a hammer. They exploded in several pieces...and even then it is next to impossible to actually get the meat out once opened. Having to just throw them away....a VER EXPENSIVE lesson to learn. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE AT ALL.
